Dennis McHale Born on Mahatma Gandhi’s birthday (that’s pretty cool). There was also a Nuke Test at Yucca Flats, NV. that day (maybe not so cool). Born as a part of a 1000 year old Irish Clan, so yep got a few family members. Studied Fine Art with an emphasis on Printmaking at Cypress College and Cal State Fullerton. As a printmaker, worked as a Contact Printer, printing lithographs, etchings, monotypes and collagraph editions for artists and fine art ateliers in Southern California. After an internship at Ocean Works (a Tamarind Press offshoot), worked hand printing editions at Spectrum Press and Blue Stone editions. Understudied to Master Printmakers, Roger Mendes, Conrad Schwable, Larry Thaukner and Nick Capaci. Notable Exhibitions, Kenoque Gallery South Coast Metro, Awagami Invitational Small Print Exhibition in Japan, Orange County Contemporary Arts, Los Angeles Printmakers Society. Recently my paintings have found notoriety at the Plumas Sierra County Fair in local exhibition, that’s way cool! My studio is in the Sierra Nevada Mountains just how bitchen is that!
